Just last month I have read a Western book by Luis Antwood and that was my first time to change my genre when it comes to book. So since then I have been a fan of his novels who would not? Once you open his book and start reading you won’t be able to stop! His novels have always been an interesting and exciting story. There’s always intensity and tension in each chapter that you will surely look forward to! And the character, Isaac is someone you will watch out for in the story as he can’t stay himself out of trouble and seemed to have a lot of folks who wants him dead. I like the author wrote this book. It is easy to understand the storyline and you can feel every scenario of the story.
This is a good story, there are some actions, romance and thrill in the story.
This book is a good book for past time. It will entertain you just like watching movies.
As in all western stories, the leading men, are challenged to face the unjust and bad enemy. That is exactly the situation, this book’s leading man, Isaak, is facing. But, his courage and strength help him overcome his handicap and save his family. He never hesitates in front of any danger. He is surrounded by men as powerful as him that prove their loyalty by sacrificing themselves to protect what they consider important as a last act of courage.
This is my first time reading a Western fiction story. When I think of Western, what comes to my mind first are the cowboys, horses, duels, and ranches. When I read this book, it satisfied me. There was action and suspense because the story was about a counterattack. It made me visualize how is life in the Westerns. It was quite a refreshing story for me because I have not yet read Western stories here before. I was glad to give this book a try.
This is book 4 in the Boot Hill series. It's the continuing story of Issac O'Connor, unless this is the last book. All books in the series are a quick read, only about 50 pages long for each. The author packs enough action into these books that other authors could stretch into book lengths several times longer. The characters in the books are well developed and the good guys are likeable while the bad guys are despicable.
This book offered a good sense of the old western feel with a bit of suspense. This is the fourth book in the series and it picks up smoothly where the others let off. Isaac is looking to start over and leave all of the things in his past behind him. Searching for the little piece of calm life on a farm is how this story opens your eyes to the images that Luis Antwood sees as he writes. This is a great book, however you are going to want to read the first four to get the full effect of Isaac's story. I will pass this story along to other western book lovers, as it is well worth the read.
